End of the Work Week and WIP'd!
Here are my WIPs for the week! Actually I really don't stop on the weekends, and often don't remember what day it even is with kids home! This morning I have a table full staring at me, and STILL need to go and get more balls for forms. This is the time of year for me when orders start coming in, and boy did they this week! Its Friday morning at just look at my studio! I love the mornings and can't wait to get to work. Danny is already begging for pancakes, and the big blow up pool collapsed again! Maybe I can get the pool filled back up, get them all outside, then lock the doors and toss them popscicles and other treats off the deck! ha ha HA! My three children are really fun and Ellie, the oldest, helped me rip paper yesterday in addition to writing my "to do" list for the day. She told me she is my personal assisitant! The weather outside is gorgeous, too, it seems cool and not so humid. Its a hard balance for me to stay in and work vs. running with Angus or hopping on the bike or going to the farm..I found some new running trails the other night, I keep going further and further into these woods I like to prowl...I found a rusted hunk of an old fifties' car, and ran through some yellowjackets, got two stings, oh, and I keep finding box turtles laying eggs! I've seen three this week! When I hear the crows cawing, I get so nostalgic for fall. Halloween is just around the corner!

Here is a neat old rusted metal saw blade I found in the woods, think I'll paint a moon or a jack on him, or use him as a collar on a jack o lantern or a moon on a stick...hmmm.

Here is one of the many box turtles I found happily laying her eggs in her muddy little nest!

I thought this car's rusted patina was gorgeous. I need to go back with a real camera!

It was sort of creepy, like Christine's cousin...I almost expected to find a skeleton or something inside!

Back to work for me!

Go, go, go! Get those moons done, Brandi! I love the nature photos too. It must be amusing watching you come out of the store with 5 or 6 of those big balls. Have a fun filled weekend!

Lisa and Tracy thanks for reading my crazy posts!Lisa,
It is probably amusing...! I usually have three kids with me, so it looks "normal" I suppose to buy lots of big balls...Jim always laughs when I say..."I need more big balls!" That's just not right, is it?
