I had the absolute pleasure last week of a visit from my Aunt and Uncle. My uncle is my Dad's older brother, Wilbur Pearson, he is an incredible artist. He draws from the live model atleast 9 hours a week from his home in Amhurst, MA. He gave us the honor of showing a few stacks of drawings from recent years and he allowed me to choose one! It was so hard to choose, but I picked this one, and am very happy with it. She looks like a warrior with her confident stance, I had to have her, so she's on my living room wall, where I enjoy her everyday!
I finished a moon tonight, and it has layers of antique glazing which look amazing but the camera did a poor job of capturing it. I will list it tonight.

I LOVE that drawing. You're right - she is strong, and has that "don't mess with me" stance. Your uncle is very talented.
