Spooky Time Jingles October Pieces....
Now that my STJ pieces are completed I am spending the week wrapping up several commissions as well as preparing for our annual Halloween and oldest daughter's birthday party out at the farm! Big fire, roasting Marshmallows, horse rides...lots of spooky decor down in the woods! The kids look so much forward to it every year as do the grown ups in our family. I have several things to make for that as well! Not enough hours in the day, it seems!
Here is my Beistle Jack Urn Lamp....Lamp is electric and has a roll cord on the switch. So scrumptious lit in the dark...
hours of work went into painting the tiny details...
I love the creepy funerary urn style base....
Here is my Cat Parade Lantern, left, shown with my other Cat piece this week....
The Cat head Parade Lantern is a functional lantern mounted on a two and half foot tall pole for carrying like a torch on Halloween night! The neatest thing about the cat is the nifty hinged door I have placed onto the back of the lantern for placing the battery operated tea light or real candle....
This shows how tall he is with the pole...
So fun and festively Halloween!
And here are various WIPS...
And last but not least, my favorite Halloween piece of the year, done by my sister Dusti, who is multi talented and and absolutely lover of all things Halloween..a little led light sits in the basket and looks like a real fire!!
This piece is SO MUCH BETTER in person! These skeletons are absolutely nefarious! What malevolent deeds must they be plotting...
Halloween Hot Air Balloon is available on eBay this week!
Thanks for stopping by!!
